Dr.Andrew Snodin

My background is in Applied Mathematics and Computational Plasma Physics.
After completing a PhD in applied mathematics at Newcastle University, UK, I worked as a researcher in theoretical plasma physics at the Department of Physics, University of Warwick, and then at the Department of
Physics, Mahidol University. My current research is mainly concerned with mathematical modelling and simulation of turbulent transport, which can be applied to problems in several areas, including engineering and plasma physics.

In the bilingual program I have been teaching about problem solving and research methodology in materials engineering. In future, I'm hoping to teach more about these and other topics to students who are enthusiastic about science. I encourage students who need some help with English or are keen to improve their English language skills to drop by to see me when I'm available.
